About two weeks ago we published a wish list of furnishings and equipment for El Camino's new performing arts center. This week, we are delighted to report a gift of $1,000 to fund our bass drum in honor of band alumnus Michael Slater, Class of 2011.

Thanks for the great news! It’s great to hear that the art center has received the necessary financial assistance. We live in tough economic times and art center needs financial help to get all the necessary equipment to operate normally. Thus, they really need that $1,000 and I think that it will help them. I think they can use quick and easy loans online but hopefully, they will find investors ready to invest in the art center.
